  • Flora Gordon brings ideas to life through communication design and photography. Specializing in visual problem-solving, typography, art direction, and depicting emotion with images, she loves making the most of creative opportunities. She is based in Vancouver, BC and has a BDes. in Communication Design from Emily Carr Institute. She is also a professionally certified member of the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada.

Flora’s favorite parts of the design process are learning about a client’s needs and sharing solutions that will help their business or organization stand out. Her sensitivity to typography, the use of imagery, and colour help her create designs that are resonant.

Flora embraced photography as a student when she realized she could rarely find an adequate image to express her creative ideas. The solution was to take them herself, so she studied extensively to refine her skills. Her photography has since appeared in local print and television media.

Flora has a contagious sense of humor and loves to cook and bake in her spare time. She contributes to her community as a long-time volunteer for local charities. Flora also loves creatures of all kinds and enjoys taking artistic photos of pets as a ‘side project’.
